About me.

After high school, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do with my life. I knew I had a passion for art, I just didn’t know if I wanted to pursue a career in it. In the fall of 2017, I enrolled in Indiana University of Pennsylvania as a freshman majoring in Criminology. At the time, I was excited and ready to learn but as time went on I grew more and more confused. I was confused because I didn’t feel happy or secure with my decision. After the spring semester, I decided not to go back for my Sophomore year. I got a job and began to work until something came to me.

I got hired at Walmart and was a cashier for about four months until I got a job offer to be a pharmaceutical tech. While working in the pharmacy, I realized my dreams were bigger than I imagined. I knew I wanted more and had to start somewhere to get it. So I quit. My plan was to be a street photographer, record POV videos and upload them to YouTube. Mind you, I was using film and if you know anything about photography, you know film can get pretty expensive. I did this for about two months and noticed my plan wasn’t working. So I got a job at Dave and Busters.

Working at D&B was truly an experience for me. While I was there, I was learning a lot about what I wanted and didn’t want in life. Then 2020 hit, a global pandemic. This changed my whole perspective on life. I became in tune with myself. I became more aware. I became mindful. Also, I began to take photography more serious. I invested in myself and started to build my name. In January of 2021, I released my first editorial inspired shoot. From then on, I haven’t stopped creating.

Founded in 2021, Jooell Studios was created out of pure imagination. With the desire to inspire, I wanted a space to show my passion for creating and hope to give someone else the motivation to do what they love from hearing my story.
